- Coated in a bold Rapid Red finish this Escape ST-Line stands out with a confident athletic posture. The ST-Line trim emphasizes sport styling cues: a black mesh front grille body-color lower cladding and more aggressive bumper/side profiles that give it a dynamic forward-leaning look. Inside and out the theme is one of sporty refinement rather than pure utility. The red exterior pairs especially well with darker trim accents (black or dark metallic) to highlight contrast and presence. Powertrain & Performance Under the hood the selectable engine option is the 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged three-cylinder producing around 180 horsepower with a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission. Theres also an available 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine option (for higher trims) that pushes toward ~250 horsepower for when more performance is desired. The default driveline is front-wheel drive with all-wheel drive available on some ST-Line variants for added traction in varied road or weather conditions. In driving character the Escape ST-Line blends everyday comfort with a slightly sport-tuned feel: sharper steering feedback more composed handling from its sport suspension tuning and the visual cues to let you know this is a performance-inspired compact SUV. Features & Trim Highlights As part of the ST-Line trim youll find a combination of sporty design elements and modern technology: Unique ST-Line badging and red contrast stitching (interior) that reinforce the sporty theme. Exterior carrying elements like sport-style wheels (typically 18 in ST-Line) black mesh grille and styled lower fascias. Practical modern tech: the Escapes latest infotainment system (SYNC) wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility and available premium sound options. Comfort and convenience features: heated front seats (on certain packages) optional panoramic roof and driver-assist/safety features typical of the Escape lineup. A usable cargo area and passenger cabin: the Escape is sized to give you everyday SUV utility (family/gear friendly) while still being manageable in urban settings. Driving Experience & Character On the road the 2025 Escape ST-Line feels agile and well composed. The lightweight turbo engine provides peppy acceleration in daily driving while the sport-tuned elements give the vehicle more confidence when you push a little harder (cornering highway on-ramps etc.). In Rapid Red the visual feel matches the dynamic intent its not just a commuter SUV it has personality. In more challenging conditions (rain light snow loose surfaces) opting for the AWD version adds traction and composure. Though not a hardcore off-roader the Escape is well up to the task of light adventure: weekend gear hauls outdoor trips and everyday versatility. Practicality & Appeal As a compact SUV the Escape ST-Line fits a wide range of lifestyles: from commuters to small families to those who want a sporty appearance without going into full performance SUV territory. Rapid Red exterior offers a bold style choice that sets this vehicle apart from more subdued color options. The ST-Line trim gives you sporty aesthetics and some upgraded features without stepping all the way to luxury pricing or excess complexity. With modern tech and safety features included it offers solid value for someone who wants style utility and everyday performance. Summary The 2025 Ford Escape ST-Line in Rapid Red is a strong pick for someone who wants an SUV that doesnt just get the job donebut does it with flair. It combines sporty looks capable performance and everyday usability into a convincing package. If youre drawn to the idea of a compact SUV with a bit more attitude this one hits the mark.

Overall3.9Out of 5
- 5.0KBB's Expert Review tells the storyBy Uncle tom | on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 White Escape Hybrid titanium. Glad we decided on this instead of Rav4. It's a luxury car for us 'middle-weight' type people. Everything is fine...right now. More satisfied with the 2020 model than our 2016 titanium. Quiet, handles well, like switches, leather upholstery comfortable, visibility good, safety good, very good audio, and good grunt when needed. Driving 2/3's city and 1/3rd highways(2 lane mostly) currently averaging 42.2 mpg!'…
- 5.02021 Escape Titanium AWDBy Great One | on Saturday, June 26, 2021 So far my Escape has been great. I'm 6'2" and stocky and the cabin does not feel cramped. The backseat can slide forward and back a few inches which is nice also, I have not yet had any complaints about lack of space in the backseats. The 2.0L Ecoboost is definitely the way to go. It is fast and once I discovered the sport mode, I haven't really used any of the other ones. It accelerates quick and overtakes without breaking a sweat. Unfortunately Ford does not give you the option of choosing your default drive mode. So every time you start your vehicle you have to page through all the different modes until you get to the one you want. We get some snow where I live and the Escape did fine in light snow and ice. There's a drive mode for slippery conditions that slows the vehicle and lowers throttle response to prevent loss of traction. The stock tires are ok but not great in heavy rain and snow. I have not yet had the opportunity to try out the deep snow and sand mode yet. I noticed that TCS is disabled in that mode but I cannot comment on how throttle and shift points are affected. The entertainment center is responsive and intuitive. Apple car play can be spotty at times and won't connect properly. I have found that as long as I wait until everything has started up before plugging in my phone it works good. The B&O speakers sound fine but I could not tell a difference between any other car stereo I've ever had. Also the heads up display is a neat gimmick but it's just above the instrument cluster that displays all the same info. It will display driving directions but only if you use ford navigation. It does not interact with car play. The interior materials really do appear cheap, lots of plastic everywhere. Other than the accent panel that runs through the middle of the dash and a few pieces of leather on places you rest your arms on, it's all plastic. Adaptive cruise control works really well and I like that I can set the follow distance. Be careful on the highway, while trying to overtake with adaptive cruise active your vehicle may suddenly brake because of a semi or other slow moving vehicle up ahead. This has happened to me a few times and can be dangerous and unnerving if you drive aggressively. Parking assist is a cool feature and works as advertised most of the time. I've had a few instances where it tried to cram into too small of a spot and just stops after backing halfway in. High beams can be set to auto as well. So you can turn on auto lights and auto high beams and never touch either again, ever. Ford connect is an app you can download on your phone allowing you to remote start from the app. The app also displays lots of vehicle info, including tire pressure. With remote start, the climate control will default to where it was last set. Exterior trim scratches easily so be careful where you lean. I recommend the vehicle but only if you can get a good deal on it. It's pretty good at 30-32,000 but I wouldn't pay any more than that at the dealership.…
- 4.0Great little SUVBy Googolovich | on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 Got this Escape Titanium AWD for commuting. I drive 50 mi each way, 3 days a week. The active safety features were the big differentiator for me. CoPilot360 tech package with the adaptive cruise control is an absolute game changer. Parallel park assist is amazing. The vehicle is almost as comfortable as my full size pickup but with much better gas mileage. I would definitely recommend it.…
